Managing Director Steffi Volland receives invitation from the Federal Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr. Philipp Rösler, to travel as part of a trade delegation to the USA. On Whitsunday, 45 entrepreneurs (including Steffi Volland) travelled with the Federal Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr. Philipp Rösler, to Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C. The aim of the trip was to promote dialogue between the German and American digital industries.
Steffi Volland used every opportunity to emphasise the great importance of the ZIM funding programme for SMEs in Germany and to represent the interests of companies that do not solely work in the digital industry. We presented our networks using samples and brochures, and explained our goals. The trip was a great success and was a great boost to the future work of our network. Of particular importance were contacts to the digital world, which we will leverage for the future interests of our partners. We are planning an event to this effect for the autumn.
