BMWi Head of Unit, Carmen Heidecke, visits textile network congress in Plauen

Guests from industry and politics learn about networking

'Opportunities for companies through the leveraging of digital media and new financing streams' was the topic of the event on 10.12.2013 in the Malzhaus in Plauen. The network partners, LanoTex and RaumConTex, along with numerous guests from the world of politics, industry and government took part in the event involving an exhibition and company presentations. The participants were given a first-hand insight into ZIM, the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs, through a presentation given by Carmen Heidecke, Senior Government Official and Head of the VII A6 Unit - Central Innovation Programme for SMEs of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Further guests from the world of politics were the Member of the Bundestag, Yvonne Magwas (CDU) and the mayors of the towns of Plauen, Ralf Oberdorfer, and Oelsnitz, Mario Horn. The welcome address was given by Michael Barth, the Managing Director of Plauen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (representing Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce).
